Why we started this, and how we still run it

Most repair calls in this business come from customers who've already been quoted a number they don't trust, or told to just replace something that might not need replacing at all. We built this company around giving Rosenberg and Fort Bend County homeowners a technician who tests before he talks, and tells you the truth even when it costs him the job.

What we actually do differently

  • A flat diagnostic fee, told to you before we drive out, credited against the repair if you go ahead
  • Parts and labour quoted in writing before anything is opened up
  • An honest answer when the machine isn't worth fixing, even though that's a job we don't get paid for
  • Manufacturer-spec parts, not the cheapest generic substitute we can find same-day
  • A 90-day warranty on the parts and labour behind every completed repair

Who's actually coming to your door

Every technician is licensed, insured, and background-checked before they ever get a service address. We'd rather send someone slightly less busy than rush a diagnosis — a fridge repaired wrong the first time just means a second visit and a second inconvenience for you.

We keep the common failure parts stocked on the van for the machines we see most: refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ranges. It cuts the average repair down to one visit instead of two.

The honest part of the job

Not every appliance is worth repairing, and we'd rather tell you that up front than run up a bill on a machine that's already on its way out.

Age matters more than people think

A refrigerator or washer past the ten to twelve year mark is more likely to have a second failure waiting behind the first one. We factor that into the recommendation, not just the immediate fix.

The half rule

As a rough guide, if a repair quote passes roughly half the cost of a new equivalent appliance, replacement usually makes better financial sense. We'll say so even when it means less work for us.

Some repairs simply aren't close calls

A failed compressor on an older refrigerator, or a control board that costs more than a comparable new washer, are the clearest cases — and the ones we're most direct about.
